A Scholarship Offered By: The Balanced Man Program: A Scholar, a Leader, an Athlete and a Gentleman
Dear Incoming University of Minnesota Student:
Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities campus! Your acceptance suggests that you share many of the same skills and abilities which have served many thousands of graduates of the University of Minnesota preceding you. Receipt of this letter indicates you have been identified as a candidate for a prestigious award available to incoming students.
As a current student at the University of Minnesota, I have found that successful students are often ones who attach importance to leadership, academic success, and strong friendships with peers who share similar values. My Fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, believes that learning how to balance roles and activities in college is one of the most important life skills one can learn. We believe that recognizing students who exhibit balance and all-around excellence is one way to promote this important ideal. The Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at the University of Minnesota would like to award four Curtis L. Carlson Scholarships in the amounts of $1000, $500, and (4) $250. These scholarships are being offered to incoming male students who have excelled in the development of a sound mind in a sound body.
To quality, you must be attending the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and be an incoming student in the Fall of 2013. Please submit the online application (apply here!) or fill out the hard copy (to the left) by June 11, 2013, and send to:
